Training with me
Training with me will inspire, motivate and engage your team, allowing so many opportunities for reflection and growth.
Training can be tailored to meet the unique needs of you and your team and the children you are supporting, offering continuing professional development (CPD); I have trained teams of 6 staff, childminder groups and large teams from schools and nursery groups.
Delivery
Training can be in person, or via online webinars, with any form of training inviting discussion, critical thinking and consideration.
Training can be over a couple of hours, a half day, a full day or over a few sessions to really allow for deeper level reflection and building on knowledge gained.
Train with me and you will laugh, learn, maybe even cry a little as we explore the unique needs of our wonderful neurodivergent children and how we can support them in a way that truly sees and hears them as their authentic self.

Content
Train with me and you will always be focusing on neurodiversity affirming practices that will forever be embedded in your connections with children.
We can explore:
-
The neurodiversity movement and what this means in early years
-
How and why we need to become a neurodiversity affirming educator
-
Learning how we can embed connection, trust and belonging within our pedagogy
-
Understanding the impact of the environment on regulation and growth
-
Behaviour and emotional regulation strategies that focus on using curiosity and a conscious response
-
Meeting children where they are in play
-
Sensory differences – what we need to know and how we can support our children
Let’s build spaces where every child thrives.
Laura & Erin - Nursery Manager & SENCo
We feel that without the passion and inspiration in the way that Cheryl mentors we would never have got to the point where we felt empowered to push forward the change we need to see, not just in the education system, but as a whole within individual practice.
Mandy - Managing Director
She has provided our entire team with neurodivergent training, both in person and remotely, which has significantly enhanced our staff's knowledge and confidence.
Cheryl has also delivered invaluable workshops for our SENCO team, equipping them to better support the development of our staff.
Karen - Lead SENCo
Cheryl has been involved in delivering training at our team training day. Cheryl is very passionate about children being accepted for who they are. She has given us the confidence to advocate for the children and their individuality and embedding a neurodiversity affirming approach.
